Official sanctions sources do not share one legal scope or data format. Source selection should be assessed together with operating geography, customer profile and organizational obligations.

Select scope, not only a source

OFAC, UN, EU, UK and national publications represent different programs. Support for a source does not imply the same legal outcome for every record.

Preserve version and time

Record not just the source name but screening time and, where available, data version. Keep links to official publications, interpretation and guidance with the decision record.
